In its 25-year history, Grafix has always set standards regarding the introduction of new technology, service, quality of printed product, service … and this certification is a logical follow-up to our efforts to provide customers with a quality product. Back in 1996, we were the first company to bring large format digital printing to us, and since then we have been constantly improving, introducing the latest technologies and procedures. Today we are one of only about 70 digital printing companies in Europe and on the world with a Fogra certificate for the quality of our products.
FOGRA stands for Fogra Graphic Technology Research Association, ie, a world association based in the country of Gutenberg, or Germany. Its aim is to promote quality printing and new technologies in the R&D domain, and to enable the printing industry to use the results of its activities. It sets standards for print quality in offset and digital print, as well as color management. The association’s budget is 5 million euros, has about 50 employees and about 800 members.
The standardization process involves adjusting the print quality with the relevant samples, as well as constantly measuring any deviations and correcting them.
Demonstration of work in Grafix on FOGRA terms, we do every day. On this occasion one can see the progress in the process of harmonizing electronic and printed visuals.
